Announcement of the Development of the 60-Pin “ASLS Series” 0.4mm Pitch Micro-Coaxial Cable Connector

KEL Corporation has developed a new 60-pin “ASLS Series” connector for 0.4mm pitch micro-coaxial cables.

The ASLS Series, first introduced in October 2023, is expanding to meet a wider range of applications and usage environments for micro-coaxial connectors. The new 60-pin version is designed to support higher image quality and increased signal processing demands. Additional 40-pin and 50-pin versions are planned for release in September 2025.

Product Overview

  • Non-magnetic properties – unaffected by magnetic fields.
  • High heat resistance – usable at temperatures up to 105℃.
  • Secure locking structure – with an audible “click,” ensuring strong mating and improved cable retention.
  • Double-crimp construction – strengthens cable pull resistance.
  • Two-point pin contact – provides reliable electrical connection.
  • Improved EMC performance – reinforced noise resistance with multiple ground pins.
  • Mating guide structure – ensures smooth mating, prevents misalignment, incorrect insertion, and potential damage.
  • Low-profile stacked design – stack height of only 1.65mm.
  • Harness assembly only – plug-side connectors are not sold separately.
