Announcement of the Start of Sales for the FG Series – 50A Compatible Drawer Connector

KEL Corporation (Headquarters: Tama City, Tokyo; President: Akira Kasuga) is pleased to announce the start of sales for the “FG Series” 50 A drawer connector, designed for connecting batteries to the main units of equipment that handles high currents.

 

Product Overview

  • Each power contact handles up to 50A.
  • Combines 2-pin power terminals with 6-pin signal terminals to save space.
  • Multiple-clamping contact structure prevents contact buckling and improves reliability through stable contact force (power terminal: 8-point contact / signal terminal: 2-point contact).
  • Guide mechanism that absorbs mating misalignment of ±3.5 mm in the X direction and ±2.8 mm in the Y direction.
  • The screw-fastening section of the plug-side connector is movable, allowing adjustment of up to ±0.7 mm in the XY direction.
  • A highly reliable design with an effective mating length of 3.0 mm for the power terminal and 2.4 mm for the signal terminal supports hot swapping.
